I’m thrilled and honoured to share that my above image titled ‘A Great Swim’ has been HIGHLY COMMENDED at the prestigious 57th Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition! This year the competition attracted 55,000 entries from around the world, and I’m absolutely chuffed that I made the cut in this highly competitive contest that is usually dominated by pro photographers!
A BIG thank you to my parents and husband for their unwavering support and encouragement in achieving this milestone. An enormous thank you to our amazing guide and friend, Antony Tira of Matira Bushcamp for setting us up so perfectly to get this once in a lifetime shot. And last but not least thank you to my mentors, friends and family who have supported me through the years!
